As part of the Corporate Compliance team, this role emphasizes the importance of keeping compliance frameworks effective and responsive to change. You will provide essential support for risk assessments, internal fraud detection, and management guidance. With your industry knowledge, you'll also contribute to strategic initiatives and training programs aimed at fostering a culture of compliance within WSIB.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and implement the Corporate Compliance Program
• Guide management in identifying compliance risks
• Conduct risk assessments and monitor compliance trends
• Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership
• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
• College diploma in business, finance, or economics is essential
• At least 4-5 years of experience in compliance or risk
• Strong foundational knowledge of regulatory compliance
• Preferred professional designations like CIA or CPA
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
Drive compliance excellence and integrity within WSIB to contribute to safer workplaces across Ontario.
