Sales Analyst FX & Markets

Position: Sales Analyst for FX & Money Markets
Join SMBC as a Sales Analyst focusing on FX and Money Markets in North America and Japan. Support customer interactions and facilitate transactions via multiple platforms.

As part of the Global Markets and Treasury Department at SMBC, this role directly reports to the Treasury Customer Section Co-Chief. You will provide essential marketing support while serving FX and Money Market clients. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions and relaying customer insights to the trading desk for better service tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support marketing and customer functions for FX and Money Markets

• Interact with North American and Japanese clients to understand needs

• Process FX and Money Market transactions using various platforms

• Communicate feedback to the desk based on customer interactions

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in transactions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in Financial Services, Banking, or Trading

• Fluency in English;
Japanese is a plus

• Understanding of Canadian regulatory standards

• Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Money Markets

• Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and coding languages
