The Sales Analyst role is the sales support role within the Global Trade Finance line of business, accountable to provide support to Sales Professionals in ultimate support of the end client. The role is responsible for delivering effective sales support to the sales teams by acting as the day‑to‑day sales contact for the client for sales related questions and by providing support for pre and post sales activities such as document completion, requests for information and presentation collateral.
This role is accountable for providing the coordination of trade finance client onboarding, financial transaction set‑up and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Deliver effective sales support to the sales teams, acting as the day‑to‑day sales contact for the client for sales related queries.
- Provide support for pre‑ and post‑sales activities such as document completion, requests for information and presentation collateral.
- Coordinate trade finance client onboarding and financial transaction set‑up and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Aid the Global Trade team in sales prep: client research, account metrics, deck drafts and prospect/client files, and plan client/prospect meetings.
- Compile pre‑call and post‑call information packages for appropriate client analysis.
- Complete due diligence and credit analysis on new and existing client relationships, including client visits, business model analysis and comprehensive reviews of industry trends and related regulations.
- Assist with sales and service administration and processing to ensure a seamless client experience and to identify and meet opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service to internal and external clients.
- Ensure timely execution and that clients receive all required documentation upon completion.
- Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master’s degree program with a graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.4/4.0.
- Outstanding academic achievement and peer recognition.
- Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented, demonstrates initiative, prioritizes work, and multi‑tasks effectively.
- Highly motivated, fast learner capable of working with limited supervision and adapting to frequent market, systems and process changes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, and a team player able to work effectively in small groups.
- Knowledgeable in principles of finance and financial markets.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous banking or credit risk management experience an asset.
