As the AVP, you will head the Sanctions and ABAC program in Canada, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. You will provide expert advice on policy matters, oversee risk assessments, and monitor industry developments affecting the Bank. Your leadership will significantly impact strategic initiatives and internal reporting structures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage the Canadian Sanctions and ABAC program
• Provide thought leadership on compliance policies
• Communicate key changes in sanctions regulations
• Serve as the escalation point for ABAC issues
• Oversee training development and risk assessments
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree required
• Minimum 10 years in Sanctions and ABAC compliance
• Strong understanding of financial crime laws
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication at all organizational levels
