Lending and Partnerships Deputy Director

Become a strategic leader in lending with the International Rescue Committee as the Deputy Director of Lending and Partnerships. This position is key to fostering community relationships and overseeing impactful loan activities.

You will manage daily operations of lending activities, ensuring rigorous underwriting standards and mission alignment.

Your role supports growth in lending volume and deepens community engagement through effective partnership development. Strong mentorship and teamwork within the lending team are essential to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lending operations including underwriting oversight

• Lead and mentor loan officers on product fit and borrower engagement

• Approve loan applications before credit committee presentations

• Coordinate with servicing teams for successful transitions

• Support local outreach and marketing efforts for loan products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related area of expertise

• 8 years in CDFI loan servicing or credit risk management

• Knowledge of small business lending strategies

• Experience with loan management systems

• Strong advocacy for economic equity
