Position: Financial Analyst Role in Private Investments
Join Manulife as a Senior Financial Analyst focused on private alternative investments. This hybrid role supports valuation initiatives and executive meetings with the Private Alternative Investment Valuation Committee.

You'll collaborate with the North America Valuation Oversight Team to ensure accurate investment valuations and administration of quarterly meetings. Your expertise in preparing scoping files and coordinating impairment testing will directly support our financial integrity. Excellent communication and analytical skills are crucial for engaging stakeholders and generating reports effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare private equity scoping files quarterly

• Coordinate impairment recommendations

• Monitor cash contributions and distributions

• Collect valuation packages from the Front Office

• Review Real Estate appraisals ensuring market data use

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance preferred

• CPA or CFA designation required

• At least 3 years of financial analysis experience

• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel

• Flexibility to work mid-shift and report on-site
