This senior role focuses on managing tax reporting and analysis for Sun Life's Canadian insurance entities. You will ensure timely income tax provisions under IFRS, support financial audits, and lead tax forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Canadian tax financial reporting and compliance activities

• Improve processes for timely tax deliverables

• Engage in government and financial reporting audits

• Prepare and analyze effective tax rate calculations

• Provide tax guidance and research for business units

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a large corporation or accounting firm

• CPA required; MTax or CPA In Depth Tax Course preferred

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with financial software and automation tools
