Position: Finance VP Role at Edgecom Energy
Lead the finance function at Edgecom Energy as the new VP in Toronto, ON. This hybrid role will have you building financial systems from near-zero while collaborating closely with leadership.

The VP of Finance will be instrumental in developing the FP&A and strategic finance operations for Edgecom Energy, a leader in AI-powered energy management. You will report to the CEO and guide an experienced Controller to ensure robust accounting and finance practices. Your mission is to prepare the organization for Series B fundraising by establishing a comprehensive financial framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct the operating model for revenue management

• Own revenue forecasting and strategic financial reporting

• Maintain an 18-month cash flow forecast

• Deliver monthly updates for investors and the board

• Oversee compliance in cross-border operations

Requirements:

• 8-12+ years in finance with leadership experience

• Background in developing FP&A functions

• Advanced knowledge of revenue dynamics

• Expertise in US and Canadian financial regulations

• History of managing finance teams effectively
