Position: Capital Markets Associate at CIBC
Step into a key role at CIBC as an Associate of Business Management in Global Markets. This position leverages your capital markets acumen to support operational excellence in Toronto.

In your role, you will enhance the business management operations focused on Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) and Global Markets Financing (GMF). Collaborate with Business Managers to drive effective execution, compliance, and governance initiatives. You’ll offer critical support for financial analyses and present solutions that contribute positively to the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing business strategies and priorities

• Support governance, risk, and compliance frameworks

• Manage financial reporting and expense tracking

• Develop strong working relationships across teams

• Prepare necessary documentation for leadership

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of capital markets experience

• Undergraduate degree with MBA/CFA/CA preferred

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Capable of detailed analysis and effective communication

• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
