Become an Underwriter at EQ and transform banking experiences for Canadians. This hybrid role focuses on lending assessments and exceptional stakeholder engagement.
As a key member of EQ, you will conduct comprehensive credit reviews across insurance lending products. You will adjudicate both corporate and personal applications while providing high-level customer service and collaborating with your team. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct credit assessments aligned with bank policies
• Ensure timely closure of approved lending deals
• Analyze Whole Life Insurance policy effects on credit
• Support sales initiatives and internal teams
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions
Requirements:
• Degree in business or finance preferred
• 1+ years of underwriting experience in commercial lending
• Exposure to insurance lending products advantageous
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Mandarin language skills an asset
