Equity Research Senior Associate

Position: Equity Research Senior Associate at CIBC
CIBC is seeking a Senior Associate for Institutional Equity Research in Toronto. Engage in financial analysis and support our institutional clients with dedicated research insights.

In this on-site role, you'll work alongside the Equities team, focusing on Financial Institutions. Your responsibilities will include gathering and synthesizing industry data to inform investment strategies. You'll also be tasked with maintaining essential financial models and providing analytical reports that drive client advisories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze financial and industry data

• Create reports specific to investment themes

• Participate in client engagement calls with management

• Collaborate with Sales and Trading teams

• Perform extensive statistical and financial analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce and CFA, MBA, or CPA

• Experience in Capital Markets as a research associate

• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and other software

• Programming and automation skills are a plus

• Analytical and detail-oriented with teamwork mindset
