Mortgage Underwriter at First National

This full-time position involves working with the Third Party Residential Underwriting Division at First National Financial. You will adjudicate applications, interact with mortgage insurers, and ensure thorough documentation.

Your role is crucial in managing high volumes while maintaining service excellence and compliance with established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Render credit decisions on mortgage applications

• Maintain relationships with brokers and external partners

• Ensure due diligence when reviewing documentation

• Prepare mortgage commitments within service levels

• Adjudicate applications while managing workflow

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years mortgage underwriting experience

• Completed post-secondary education or equivalent

• Knowledge of Windows PC software

• Ability to manage high-volume processing

• Completion of Mortgage Agent Course an asset
