Position: Full-Time Mortgage Funder Position
Join First National in Toronto as a Mortgage Funder, specializing in third-party residential underwriting. This full-time position emphasizes accuracy and effective communication.

Reporting to the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting, your role involves handling mortgage files from instruction to closing. You will also ensure documentation meets all regulatory requirements while coordinating with solicitors to verify details. This position requires an ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines, contributing greatly to the efficiency of the Canadian mortgage broker network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and advance mortgage files seamlessly

• Confirm accuracy of solicitor entitlements

• Prepare and send instructional packages to solicitors

• Organize and review mortgage documentation

• Follow up on outstanding conditions and inquiries

Requirements:

• Completed post-secondary education or relevant experience

• Familiarity with the mortgage industry is preferred

• Mortgage Agent Course or FICOM License beneficial

• Proficient in PC software within a Windows environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills
