Real Estate Underwriting Associate

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in commercial real estate finance. You will evaluate conventional and CMHC mortgage loans, engage with clients during applications, and coordinate with management on new transactions. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and recommend CMHC-insured and conventional mortgage loans

• Collaborate with Account Managers on loan applications

• Build relationships with clients and brokers during the underwriting process

• Review appraisals and third-party reports for compliance

• Monitor results through data input in CRM

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in commercial real estate finance

• Strong understanding of CMHC policies and market dynamics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication skills in English and French preferred

• Experience with AML and KYC compliance
