UPP Senior Actuary Analyst Position

Become a key player at UPP as a Senior Analyst, Actuary, helping to optimize pension benefits and ensure compliance. Located in downtown Toronto, this hybrid role focuses on developing actuarial tools and calculations.

As part of the UPP team, you will support the Actuary department while liaising with various stakeholders to enhance pension service quality. Ideal candidates will possess 4-6 years of actuarial consulting experience and strong attention to detail, along with communication skills applicable across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and improve pension administration tools

• Review and address complex actuarial calculations

• Advise on pension legislation and standards

• Collaborate on reports and audits with Corporate Finance

• Research actuarial methodologies for tool development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics

• 4 to 6 years of relevant consulting experience

• Progressing towards ASA/ACIA designation

• Expertise in MS Excel and Office tools

• Comprehensive understanding of Ontario pension laws
