This position at EQ is pivotal for the Accounting and Finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Hedge Accounting & Financial Operations. You will be integral in managing settlements, confirming trades, and ensuring compliance with financial instruments. Collaborate with Treasury and Capital Markets while leveraging your skills for offering middle-office and back-office support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage settlements for security transactions

• Coordinate with traders and custodians to resolve issues

• Review daily trades and verify payment settlements

• Conduct investigations to ensure data accuracy

• Document operational processes and develop improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business

• 2-3 years in a financial institution's middle office

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Familiarity with FX forwards and interest rate swaps

• Advanced Excel skills are a plus
