Senior Tax Leader

Our Client is in search of a Senior Tax Leader to manage a seasoned team and oversee complex corporate and international tax issues. This hybrid role is tailored for candidates with over 10 years in Canadian tax.
This 15-month term role centers on compliance, planning, and tax audits across multiple regions. Your leadership will be essential in collaborating with internal stakeholders and providing strategic guidance on intricate tax matters. Candidates should have a background in large corporations and proven people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a high-performing tax management team

• Advise on intricate tax matters and laws

• Oversee tax audits and manage controversies

• Establish and implement compliance processes

• Assess risks in tax strategies and policies
Requirements:

• CPA + Tax or relevant Master’s degree

• 10+ years of corporate tax background

• Strong IFRS provision experience

• History with large corporate tax environments

• Prior management of audit controversies
