Senior Financial Analyst at Ontario Cannabis Store

Join the Ontario Cannabis Store in Toronto as a Senior Financial Analyst, providing specialized expertise in financial analysis and reporting. Embrace the challenge of enhancing accounting systems while addressing complex financial tasks.

In this full-time, 12-month contract position, you will manage day-to-day general ledger accounting and collaborate with Finance, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate inventory processing.

Your role will involve financial modeling, compliance assurance, and developing KPIs, supporting the organization’s financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute general ledger accounting and perform reconciliations

• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting

• Manage vendor reconciliations and chargebacks

• Develop financial models and KPIs for analysis

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards during audits

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting

• 4+ years of finance or accounting experience

• Experience with inventory accounting and Microsoft Dynamics

• Advanced Excel and analytical skills

• Excellent communication abilities and high integrity
