The RoleWe're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Underwriter to assess credit risk across our deal flow. You'll analyse financials, apply credit policy, and work closely with sales, ops, and credit to help move good deals fast — and stop bad ones faster. This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, commercial instinct, and pace are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite deals ranging from $25K – $1.5M
- Analyse financials, bank data, and open banking feeds to assess creditworthiness
- Apply credit risk policies accurately and flag sensible exceptions for review
- Support offer structuring that balances speed, risk, and commercial value
- Work closely with the sales team to support fast decisions and clean execution
- Escalate edge cases and complex scenarios to senior underwriters or credit leadership
- Maintain accurate underwriting documentation and CRM records
- Contribute insight and feedback to help refine credit policy over time
- Highly organised — nothing gets missed, nothing gets dropped
