Chief Financial Officer

Position: Chief Financial Officer at Munich Re
Lead Munich Re Canada’s finance function as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial strategies and capital planning in a hybrid work environment. Drive results, manage treasury functions, and communicate financial forecasts effectively.

In this senior leadership role, you will provide vision and direction for Munich Re Canada’s Life Branch finance operations. Engage with key stakeholders, oversee audits, and manage regulatory requirements while ensuring financial performance aligns with corporate strategies. You will also collaborate with senior management to influence the future of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee company’s financial position and capital planning

• Direct treasury and liquidity management activities

• Manage regulatory compliance with OSFI and other authorities

• Communicate financial results to stakeholders

• Coordinate audits and optimize financial reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a Senior Financial Executive

• FSA designation or equivalent experience

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Proven history of financial strategy implementation

• Exceptional communication and analytical abilities
