Scotiabank seeks a fully licensed Investment Trader to contribute to its Centralized Investment Management team. In this role, you will create and execute various orders, assist in portfolio management, and ensure compliance with trading policies and regulations. Strong investment management knowledge and experience will elevate your contributions to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships
• Create and execute equity and fixed income orders efficiently
• Assist in onboarding and rebalancing portfolio management requests
• Monitor portfolios and communicate with program Portfolio Manager
• Ensure adherence to operational compliance and risk culture
Requirements:
• CIRO licensed Investment Representative
• 2 years of industry experience
• University degree or equivalent experience
• Strong investment management knowledge
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and portfolio systems
