Portfolio Management Group Manager

BMO is seeking a Manager for the Portfolio Management Group, where you will oversee investment recommendations and ensure efficient administration of client accounts. You'll engage with Investment Counsellors and coach Portfolio Associates, driving both team effectiveness and portfolio performance. Your expertise will also guide project management initiatives and enforce compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement investment recommendations and execute transactions

• Maintain low portfolio variability through compliance and analysis

• Establish positive relationships with investment teams and clients

• Coach Portfolio Associates to resolve complex issues

• Assist in ad-hoc project management tasks

Requirements:

• University degree with CFA or Canadian Investment Manager designation

• Minimum of 5 years in investment or financial services

• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products

• Proven analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Familiarity with portfolio management software is an asset
