Financial Operations Analyst​/Accountant - Mutual Fund

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Operations Analyst/Accountant - Mutual Fund. This position involves managing day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting team collaboration within a high-risk, detail-oriented setting. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to this contractual opportunity.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $31.09/hr

• Process mutual fund trades and settlements accurately and timely
• Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies
• Handle FundSERV transactions and manage money movements
• Utilize Excel macros to support operational workflows
• Provide customer service and respond to inquiries effectively
• Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory procedures
• Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to team discussions
• Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring smooth transaction processing
• Protect sensitive customer data and uphold confidentiality standards

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, and macros
• Proven experience in banking or financial services, particularly mutual funds
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn internal systems quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn swiftly and adapt to changing processes

• Experience with trade settlements
• Previous background in high-risk compliance environments
• Familiarity with FundSERV and related transactions
