  • Manage annual corporate income tax (CIT) filings for subsidiaries in the US, Canada, Singapore, UK, and EU member states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee indirect tax obligations including US state Sales & Use Tax, Canadian GST/HST, UK VAT, and EU VAT/OSS, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
  • Maintain company registrations, annual returns, and statutory filings across all jurisdictions in good standing.
  • Coordinate year-end statutory audits with local external auditors, ensuring timely completion and accurate financial reporting.
Tax Authority Relations & Audit Defense
  • Serve as the Group's primary liaison with tax authorities including the IRS (US), CRA (Canada), IRAS (Singapore), HMRC (UK), and relevant EU tax administrations.
  • Manage responses to tax authority inquiries, information requests, and formal audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and working papers.
  • Maintain comprehensive, well-organized tax files and audit-ready documentation across all entities at all times.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the Group's global transfer pricing policy, covering IP licensing/royalties, intragroup service fees, and cost-sharing arrangements.
  • Prepare and maintain OECD-compliant three-tier transfer pricing documentation:
Master File, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Report (CbCR).
  • Conduct or oversee benchmarking studies to substantiate arm's-length pricing for all controlled transactions.
Government Incentives & Tax Credits
  • Proactively research and monitor government tax incentive programs, subsidies, and credits across all operating jurisdictions, including Canada SR&ED, US R&D Tax Credits, UK R&D Relief, and Singapore EDG/Investment Allowance schemes.
  • Evaluate eligibility, quantify potential benefit, and drive end-to-end application and claim processes in collaboration with relevant business units (engineering, finance, operations).

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Completion of CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course or a Master of Taxation (MTax) is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, with at least 3 years at a public accounting firm or tax advisory firm.
