Financial Planning Manager at Cineplex

Lead financial strategy as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis with Cineplex. This hybrid role focuses on project management for budgets and financial forecasts across the organization.

In this critical position, you will act as project manager for Cineplex’s annual budget and five-year financial model, collaborating closely with various business units. Key responsibilities include managing financial models, overseeing accurate forecasting, and ensuring meticulous reporting of investment portfolios and financial statements. As a hybrid position, you will work three days onsite at our Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain detailed financial models for strategic insights

• Oversee monthly forecasting and annual budget cycles

• Ensure timely delivery of multi-month budget projects

• Analyze financial statements and investment portfolio performance

• Coach and develop team members across functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation required

• 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a strong attention to detail

• Ability to coach and mentor employees effectively
