Position: Hybrid Risk Underwriter at Intact
Join Intact's Trade Credit team as a Risk Underwriter, focusing on buyer assessments and credit recommendations in a hybrid work model. This contract role offers the opportunity for extension and joining a respected organization.

As a Risk Underwriter for Intact, you’ll utilize your expertise in financial analysis and risk management to facilitate trade for clients. With 2-3 years of experience in financial statement analysis, your work will directly impact the success of the Trade Credit Strategic Plan. You'll collaborate with commercial underwriters, brokers, and subject matter experts to ensure sound underwriting practices and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess buyer portfolios for credit recommendations

• Ensure compliance with risk assessment guidelines

• Communicate effectively with commercial underwriters

• Contribute to business retention and buyer relationship management

• Develop underwriting policies and standards

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field

• 2-3 years in financial services or underwriting

• Knowledge of credit transaction structuring

• Strong communication skills

• Bilingual English and French is an asset
