Investment Officer - Private Equity Funds

In this permanent role, you will join Fin Dev Canada’s Investments team to originate, manage, and lead fund investment transactions. Your experience in developing markets and your strong analytical skills will help you build client relationships and support portfolio growth, making a difference in economies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new investment opportunities in Private Equity Funds

• Lead the entire transaction lifecycle from origination to closing

• Manage a portfolio of fund investments and client interactions

• Assess transaction risks and provide recommendations

• Mentor junior investment professionals in the organization

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years post-MBA investment experience

• Experience in originating and closing fund transactions

• Strong skills in investment risk assessment

• Proficient in client relationship management

• Fluent in English, knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus
