ABOUT

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Capital Markets Specialist to join our growing investment dealer team in downtown Toronto. This role provides exposure to a broad range of capital markets activities, including new investment products, exempt market offerings, alternative investments, structured products, and issuer relationships.

The successful candidate will work closely with advisors, issuers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to evaluate investment opportunities, support product distribution, and provide market intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who combines strong analytical skills with relationship-building ability and is interested in developing a career in capital markets, investment products, and wealth management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Analyze and support the launch and distribution of new investment opportunities, including private placements, exempt market products, alternative investments, structured products, and other capital markets offerings
  • Review offering documents, financial materials, issuer presentations, and investment reports to assess product structure, risks, suitability considerations, and market positioning
  • Support relationships with issuers, fund managers, and product providers by coordinating information requests, updates, and ongoing communications
  • Work closely with investment advisors to provide product insights, investment materials, and timely responses to product-related inquiries
  • Prepare investment summaries, market updates, advisor communications, and internal briefing materials
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
  • Maintain accurate product databases, transaction records, research materials, and internal documentation
  • Support compliance and operations teams with onboarding, regulatory documentation, and ongoing product governance
  • Track product performance, sales activity, and market interest through reporting and data analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance advisor experience, and support business growth
  • Manage product lifecycle events, including amendments, renewals, redemptions, maturities, and closures, ensuring timely communication and accurate internal records
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 4+ years of investment industry experience required
  • Experience with in capital markets, investment dealers, wealth management, asset management, or a related financial services environment
