Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking to enhance your expertise in risk and control assessments? Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Analyst. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment, gaining valuable governance and control experience while supporting business-as-usual activities in a dynamic financial institution.
The role involves engaging with stakeholders on risk assessments, process mapping, control testing, and process improvement initiatives, with a focus on risk and control self-assessments and derivative operations. Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr- $86.95/hr
- Drafting process maps and engaging stakeholders to assess process risks and controls
- Analyzing operations and procedures to identify risks and control gaps
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of process inventories (Value Chain, Assessable Unit, and Business Process)
- Executing Risk and Control Self-Assessment documentation, including interim updates during operational risk events/issues
- Testing key controls in accordance with client's testing methodology, analyzing exceptions, and tracking to resolution
- Supporting development of action and remediation plans for control gaps and root cause analysis
- Assessing Key Risk Indicators and identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Supporting ad-hoc risk and control initiatives and strategies
- Risk and Control Self-Assessment experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures, strategies, and tactics
- Prior audit and quality control testing experience
- Strong project and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Wholesale operations experience
- Aris process mapping tool experience
