Associate Director of Investigations

Position: Associate Director of Investigations at RBC
Drive risk-based investigations in Investor Services with RBC as an Associate Director. Your expertise aids in detecting money laundering and terrorism financing through thorough analysis.

As a key member of the Financial Intelligence Unit, you will coordinate complex investigations and gather intelligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of IS products and experience in financial crime investigations. You will provide guidance to your team while maintaining meticulous records in line with RBC’s policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based investigative research on financial crimes

• Act as subject matter expert for team members

• Maintain accurate records of investigative actions and decisions

• Develop relationships with internal partners for effective investigations

• Recommend Suspicious Activity Reports as required

Requirements:

• At least 2 years in financial crime investigation

• Demonstrated knowledge of IS products and their financial crime uses

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• University degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of AML processes and regulations
