Position: Director, FP&A-High-Impact Strategic Finance Opportunity-Global Financial Services!

A leading global investment solutions organization is seeking a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, forecasting, and performance optimization.

*$210-$250K Total Comp (Base + Full Annual Bonus)

This is an opportunity for a strategic finance professional to work at the intersection of FP&A, analytics, strategy, and executive decision-making within a complex and highly sophisticated organization.

Position Highlights:

The Director will own and enhance the enterprise-level financial forecast model that serves as a key source of truth for expected financial performance. Beyond reporting the numbers, this leader will help explain the “why” behind financial results, identify trends and opportunities, and translate complex business drivers into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business performance and strategic decisions
  • Own the enterprise-level forecast model and continuously enhance forecasting methodologies and analytics
  • Develop analytics to explain and attribute variances in financial performance and key KPIs relative to expectations
  • Partner with leaders across Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Treasury/Capital Management, Corporate Development, and IT
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to connect complex operational and business drivers to financial outcomes
  • Develop executive-level presentations, analyses, and recommendations for senior management
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
  • Balance long-term strategic priorities with high-priority, time-sensitive business needs
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, insurance, actuarial, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, consulting, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting expertise, including advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to translate highly technical or complex concepts into clear business insights
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex, end-to-end initiatives
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes unstructured environment
  • Progress toward actuarial or financial designations such as FSA or CFA strongly preferred
