Tax Reporting Analyst

Position: Tax Reporting Analyst at RBC
Join RBC as a Tax Reporting Analyst in Toronto, where you'll process corporate actions and assist with tax basis calculations. Your expertise in fund accounting is essential for accuracy and compliance.

This full-time role requires a detail-oriented candidate with at least two years of fund accounting experience. You will review corporate actions, update tax sub-ledgers, and collaborate closely with the Pricing team and Fund Auditors. Your insights will facilitate accurate tax treatment in financial reporting across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review corporate actions for tax treatment accuracy

• Process and update tax sub-ledger and GL entries

• Coordinate with Pricing team for precise corporate action logs

• Provide auditors with corporate action documentation

• Ensure consistent treatment across RBC platforms

Requirements:

• 2+ years of fund accounting experience

• University degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce

• Completion of Canadian Securities course is preferred

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of process improvements in financial reporting
