Toronto Senior Manager for Pension Investments

In this key position, you'll oversee the selection and monitoring of investment managers while balancing risk, cost, and governance. Engaging with multiple stakeholders, you will lead comprehensive assessments of external managers and develop strategies that enhance the pension portfolio. Your leadership will mentor junior team members and drive investment excellence through sound decisions and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage due diligence and selection processes for investment managers
• Assess impacts of managers on overall portfolio outcomes
• Monitor existing mandates for performance and compliance
• Formulate investment strategy recommendations
• Prepare materials for governance committees
Requirements:
• 10+ years in asset management or related fields
• Relevant graduate degree in Finance or equivalent
• CFA, CAIA, or similar professional credentials preferred
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
• Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders
