Global Investment Banking Analyst

CIBC is seeking a dedicated Global Investment Banking Analyst for our Toronto office. This full-time role empowers you to provide tailored financing solutions and advisory services to diverse clients.

As a student intern in our Global Investment Banking team, you will engage with capital markets, leveraging your analytical skills and project management abilities. You will support a range of transactions, from mergers and acquisitions to equity financing, while working closely with experienced professionals. This position is designed for growth and hands-on experience within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide research and analytical support to investment projects

• Assist in managing mergers, acquisitions, and capital financing transactions

• Collaborate with teams on executing financing assignments

• Engage in relationship management across various groups

• Prepare presentations and other materials for client engagements

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Commerce or related field

• Strong interest in Capital Markets and financial services

• Excellent communication skills for complex concept explanations

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
