US SALT Advisory Co-op Position

Join the US State and Local Tax team at PwC Canada as a Co-op. This role focuses on consulting services aimed at optimizing tax strategies for Canadian-owned US businesses.

PwC Canada provides a unique co-op opportunity in the SALT Group for students pursuing careers in tax consulting. You will work with a range of clients, delivering advisory services related to tax planning and compliance. Besides developing technical skills, you will also gain valuable insights into the dynamic nature of tax work and collaborate in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with sales tax analysis and voluntary disclosures

• Support due diligence for acquisitions and restructuring projects

• Develop self-awareness through feedback and reflection

• Communicate project progress and challenges to senior staff

• Foster effective working relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Enrolled in post-secondary studies

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Effective at managing deadlines in a fast-paced setting

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Familiarity with tax research tools is an asset
