As part of the Surveillance team, you will manage various compliance-related tasks, including overseeing Trading surveillance and implementing technology solutions for process improvements. Your insights will be instrumental in collaborating with internal teams and enhancing operational efficiencies in line with risk management protocols and Scotiabank’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Surveillance programs for compliance and regulation

• Identify and mitigate compliance risks effectively

• Recommend program improvements and enhancements

• Collaborate with development teams for technology solutions

• Champion a customer-focused approach across initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in compliance roles within finance

• Knowledge of institutional compliance and regulations

• Strong judgment and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with multi-project management capability

• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset
