Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, the Manager of FP&A role will lead the overall annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasts for the organization to drive performance and profitability. This role will partner with our omnichannel business leaders and cross-functional partners on driving EBITDA & healthy cashflow through revenue generating opportunities, while ensuring cost mitigating activities are maximized. The role will also support business partners with insightful reporting, perform detailed ad-hoc analyses and identify/interpret findings to guide decision-making and support strategic and operational objectives.

The Manager of FP&A will have two direct reports (to evolve with business).

All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

• Partner with business stakeholders by providing insightful analysis to influence decision-making, identify areas of opportunity, inform partners and connect the dots to provide the big picture
• Forecasting/Budgeting/LRP preparation, leading the process with cross-functional partners on a bottoms-up build, aligning strategic priorities with financial targets
• Monthly review of financial results (by country, business, channel, department), identifying variances to budget, forecast and prior year, and providing insights to help understand and improve business performance
• Develop, monitor and update KPIs and dashboards by leveraging Power BI or other automation tools, where possible, to help interpret and improve performance
• Strategic initiatives - prepare business cases, risk assessments, financial analyses, and recommendations to support strategic objectives
• Ad-hoc reporting/analysis as required
• Mentor and lead an engaging team, developing their skills and coaching them through day-to-day tasks and large initiatives, finding efficiencies and improved ways of working

• Minimum 8 years experience in Finance & FP&A with increasing levels of responsibility
• 4+ years of experience in managing an FP&A team
• CPA designation an asset
• Wholesale/Retail/E-commerce experience preferred
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, concise insights and actionable recommendations
• Excellent business partnering and communication skills to interpret financial data and business insights
• Strong leader who provides clear guidance and direction to team members

The compensation range on average for this position is from $125, annually
