What will you do?
Lead NIE/FTE processes including Five Year Outlook, annual planning, ongoing forecasts, T-5 estimates, and monthly monitoring of NIE/FTE results
Provide strategic, proactive analysis and advice on financial results to support superior business performance across Distribution teams
Serve as a primary liaison with PB & CB Platform Performance Management, providing analysis and advice on the impact of strategic initiatives and results
Deliver meaningful and actionable financial information and insight critical to senior management decisions
Provide monthly financial results information and gap analysis to support Personal & Business Distribution Strategy & Performance leaders
Advise on trends impacting performance and recommend action plans to seize opportunities or reduce gaps
Ensure data integrity and adherence to established corporate governance and financial compliance standards
Oversee the performance and development of two Managers
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
5+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and cost management
Experience using metrics, KPIs, and cost/value drivers in performance management
Experience evaluating or experimenting with AI agents or generative tools to improve financial analysis, reporting, or stakeholder communication
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships across all levels of the enterprise
Strong technical skills including MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with financial systems such as EPM (Cognos)
Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
Curious and proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Comfortable dealing with incomplete information, uncertainty, and change
Nice to Have
Exposure to the Bank's Personal/Business network, products, and services
CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent designation
Varied working career including positions in multiple areas of RBC or another financial institution
Knowledge and understanding of banking products and processes
