Tax Manager

Position: Tax Manager at TD
Take your expertise to TD as a Tax Manager in Toronto, Ontario, with a focus on corporate tax matters and compliance. This role requires strong leadership in tax accounting and auditing processes.

As a Tax Manager for TD, you will oversee income tax compliance and reporting for Canadian entities, guiding a team while maintaining SOX compliance. Key responsibilities include managing tax GL analyses and leading tax planning initiatives. Your strong communication and organizational skills will drive efficiencies within the Finance team and enhance decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage income tax reporting and forecasting for entities

• Lead shareholder disclosures and capital reporting

• Review tax provisions and journal entries

• Manage tax compliance, including audits and returns

• Mentor and coach team members for professional growth

Requirements:

• CPA or MBA with relevant tax experience

• 5+ years in income tax and compliance

• Completion of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
