About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investor Services Administrator to join our Investor Services team. This entry-level role is responsible for providing back-office administration and operational support to investment fund managers by processing investor transactions, preparing investor communications, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries from clients and financial institutions.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a genuine interest in financial services and investments. They will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate attention to detail, and be eager to learn and grow within the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Process investor transaction packages using proprietary administration software.
  • Communicate Fundserv and manual settlement amounts to fund managers and internal departments.
  • Prepare investor statements and trade confirmations within established service standards.
  • Respond to dealer service inquiries and resolve issues within department turnaround targets.
  • Respond to fund manager inquiries promptly and professionally, meeting same-day response expectations where applicable.
  • Process non-financial investor account updates and maintenance requests.
  • Produce and prepare standard reports for clients, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of transactions and communications.
  • Support operational efficiency through adherence to internal controls and procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves / Required

  • Completed post-secondary education in any field OR one year of professional experience in financial services OR equivalent transferable work experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, formulas, and data management functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages, averages, and simple financial calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service mindset with the ability to professionally manage inquiries and requests.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves / Assets

  • Previous experience in financial services, investments, banking, fund administration, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with Fundserv processes or investment products.
  • Knowledge of investment funds or financial markets.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications beyond Excel.
  • Interest in building a career within the financial services industry.
