Our downtown Toronto wealth management practice is seeking an experienced candidate to join our leading team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to deepen client relationships, support our Advisor team, and build their career within a high-performing organization backed by RBC’s stability and resources.

By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and Advisor team, you will help strengthen existing relationships, welcome new clients to the firm, and play a key role in wealth management planning. As an invaluable internal and external point of contact, you will maintain client accounts, ensure compliance and documentation accuracy, and collaborate on portfolio and wealth management opportunities that make a tangible difference in our clients’ financial lives.

About

This Role

This is a client-facing position that combines relationship management, operational excellence, and strategic support to our Advisor team. You’ll work with high-net-worth and sophisticated clients on complex wealth planning initiatives, including retirement strategies, multi-generational wealth transfer, and philanthropic planning. Your role bridges client needs with advisor expertise, positioning you to develop deeper understanding of wealth management dynamics and advance into advisory or senior leadership roles.

What

You’ll Do
  • Manage Client Relationships
    :
    Maintain and deepen existing client accounts, proactively identify opportunities for client contact, and manage critical timelines and key dates to ensure clients feel supported and valued by our team.
  • Deliver Responsive Client Service
    :
    Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries (account transactions, documentation, reporting, etc.) with a solutions-oriented mindset, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Support Client Onboarding
    :
    Work collaboratively with the Advisor team to welcome and seamlessly onboard new clients, ensuring positive first impressions and smooth account setup.
  • Coordinate Wealth Planning Activities
    :
    Leverage your planning expertise to prepare comprehensive meeting materials, coordinate client and prospect meetings with Advisors, and support the full wealth management planning process. Maintain detailed records of all wealth management activities and priorities.
  • Ensure Compliance & Accuracy
    :
    Become expert in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain client files and documentation that are accurate, current, and fully compliant with all applicable standards.
  • Manage Communications & Operations
    :
    Effectively triage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, internal departments, and external partners. Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery. Update team communication channels, including websites, Linked In, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration
    :
    Draw on your superior problem-resolution skills to liaise with various departments and external partners, providing smooth and timely solutions that enhance the client experience.
What You’ll Bring to the Team

Must-Have

  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
  • 2–5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related client-facing role
  • Strong proficiency with business applications and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to provide world-class client service that is professional, warm, and personable
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Understanding of investment and wealth management concepts

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems, procedures, and product offerings
