Associate Mortgage Underwriter

As a full-time Associate Mortgage Underwriter, you will report to the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting. Your primary responsibilities include verifying documentation for compliance and establishing relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners. Contribute to a supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review mortgage documents for accuracy and compliance

• Maintain relationships with brokers and partners

• Collect necessary documents to meet mortgage conditions

• Escalate documentation issues to the Underwriter

• Document interactions clearly within the system

Requirements:

• Completed post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Experience in Financial Services or Mortgage industry preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage high-volume tasks under pressure

• Proficient in PC software and Microsoft Office
