Co-op Student, Business Valuations

• Assist with financial analysis and modelling
• Assist with drafting valuation and related advisory reports
• Conduct market, company, and industry research
• Prepare information requests for the production of documents
• Manage and organize document production
• Review and analyze financial, legal, and supporting documents
• Communicate with clients, lawyers, and other external parties
• Work directly with managers and partners on client engagements
• Assist with mediation and trial preparation
• Develop an understanding of business valuation methodologies and the Chartered Business Valuator designation

• Currently pursuing a university degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• Intention to pursue a CPA, CBV, or related professional designation is an asset
• Energetic, highly motivated, and eager to learn
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is an asset

Proficient in managing document production and conducting thorough market and industry research while effectively communicating with clients and external parties.
