RBC seeks a Junior Trade Support Analyst for the Commodities trading desks in Toronto, Canada. Engage directly with trading processes and support critical operations on Openlink.
In this role, you will act as the ‘first line of defence’ by ensuring accurate processing of commodities trades, including market validation and reconciliation. Key responsibilities encompass trade analysis, communication with front office teams, and execution of daily reports essential to operational success. Bring your analytical skills to support various commodities, including Oil and Gas, Agriculture, and Metals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform trade validation for commodities transactions
• Ensure timely execution of Intraday/EOD processes
• Collaborate with Futures/Clearing teams daily
• Generate and dispatch client MTM statements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
• Pursuing a degree in Business or Finance
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Technical proficiency in relevant systems
• Self-starter with a problem-solving mentality
