The part-time banquet bartender maintains the highest standards possible for guests by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional bar service for banquet events.
The starting wage rate for this position is $25.98 per hour. After six months of employment, the rate will increase to $28.48 per hour, in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement.

Qualifications / qualifications
Demonstrated experience working as bartender in banquetsExcellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinksStrong guest service skills and ability to work quickly and efficientlyExcellent working knowledge of liquors, cocktails, beers and wineMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysMust be 19 years of age or older and hold a valid Smart Serve certificationStrong communication skills in English. Additional language an asset.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift and push up to 25lbsMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaResponsibilities / responsabilités
Properly setup and breakdown of area and service stationPrepare bar according to BEO for the eventRestock, replenish bar inventory, supplises in banquet cage/fridge as needed for current and future eventsServe properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and serversMaintain a clean work environment and adherance to Omni standardsMonitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicatedCheck identification of guests ensuring alcohol is being served only to those patrons of legal drinking ageCommunicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issuesComply with all food and beverage regulationsObserve and adhere to all liquor liability laws
