About

The Role

The Spa Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the spa, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while upholding Four Seasons’ high standards of service and professionalism. This role includes supervising spa team members, managing bookings, coordinating staff training, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of all spa areas. The Spa Supervisor is a leader who inspires the team through example, fosters morale, and ensures seamless operations that enhance guest satisfaction.

What

You Will Do Guest Experience
  • Provide consultations and familiarize guests with services, amenities, spa, and hotel facilities.
  • Set and coordinate guest appointments while adhering to Four Seasons’ service standards.
  • Promote and sell retail products, tailoring recommendations to guest needs.
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure complete satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise daily operations of the spa team, including therapists, attendants, and receptionists, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires, maintaining and updating the Spa Training Manual and testing materials quarterly.
  • Continuously retrain team members to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and document staff performance, assisting with evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement up‑selling incentives to drive revenue growth.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee spa booking practices to maximize productivity and room utilization, ensuring efficient scheduling during peak and off‑peak hours.
  • Conduct daily checks of guest areas, including locker rooms, fitness areas, and relaxation rooms, to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper equipment functioning.
  • Manage inventories and reorder supplies to meet operational demands.
  • Collaborate with spa management on new procedures to improve service and productivity.
Retail Management
  • Maintain retail displays, ensuring neatness and proper stock levels.
  • Conduct monthly inventory and introduce new, unique products to enhance retail offerings.
  • Implement and monitor retail incentive plans for staff to boost sales.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate input of services, gratuities, and retail sales into the POS system.
  • Prepare accounting reports, research voucher issues, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and manage desk supplies, guest materials, and operational inventories.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in a supervisory capacity in a spa, ideally in a luxury setting.
  • Passion for the health and wellness industry and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a busy environment.
