Luxury Hotel Host Position

Become a Host at the famed Fairmont Royal York in downtown Toronto and provide an exceptional first impression for our guests. This role is key to delivering a high-quality dining experience.

At Clockwork, your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring efficient communication among dining staff. You will utilize your knowledge of menu offerings to enhance the guest experience while adhering to health and safety standards. Contributing positively to team dynamics is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests in a professional manner

• Coordinate reservations and manage waiting lists

• Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the host area

• Collaborate with servers on guest preferences

• Provide coat check services when necessary

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience

• Strong team player mentality and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask in busy settings

• Must manage physical demands of the role

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
