Job Overview

This is a temporary seasonal position running from May to September 2026. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager / Banquet Captains, the Banquet Bartender supports weddings, private functions, and special events by delivering high-quality beverage service in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This role focuses on bar setup, beverage preparation, and efficient service during events, contributing to memorable experiences for Members and guests.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $21.50, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

The following outlines the primary responsibilities of this role, including but not limited to:

Set up, operate, and break down banquet bars for weddings, private events, and special functions.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Club standards and recipes.

Provide professional, courteous, and efficient beverage service to Members and guests during events.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the banquet bar area throughout service.

Adhere to Smart Serve requirements and responsible alcohol service standards at all times.

Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns during events.

Restock bar supplies, glassware, ice, and garnishes as needed during service.

Assist with inventory counts and report low stock levels to leadership.

Ensure bar equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored before and after events.

Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and Club policies.

Work collaboratively with banquet servers, event captains, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in banquets, events, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred.

Smart Serve Certification – required.

Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic offerings.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event setting.

Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence.
