About
The Role
As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high‑profile department carries a special responsibility. The Core Agent is the voice of the hotel and ensures that all communication channels operate flawlessly, including the hotel’s phone and paging system. Core Agents sell the hotel, provide information to prospective guests, capture sales from incoming calls, and coordinate details of reservations for all Hotel Rooms, Spa, Restaurant/Bar and Room Service.
They provide general information, assist callers, and respond to emergencies by connecting the appropriate individuals by phone or radio. The Core Agent also acts as the friendly and courteous voice of Room Service and Housekeeping Team.
What You Bring
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail and the ability to multitask are required. Strong computer literacy, knowledge of phone operations, a high degree of patience, discretion, an outgoing personality, and a can‑do approach are essential. Candidates must have open availability and be able to work all shifts, including weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Smart Serve Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
1–2 years of previous experience as a Telecommunication Operator, Customer Service Sales Representative, Coordinator or Order Taker in a fast‑paced Hotel operation
Previous experience with OPERA PMS is an asset
Heavy volume of guest contact and fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English are required
Additional language skills are a definite asset for career growth
Completion of Post‑Secondary Education in Hospitality or a related field
Willing team player, comfortable with computer systems and telephone communication

Starting rate of pay of $24.64 CAD and full rate of pay up to $28.75 CAD.
Schedule & Hours
The ideal candidate will have open availability and be able to work weekdays, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
