Take charge as the Stewarding Manager at the iconic Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto. Manage stewarding operations, ensuring service excellence and cleanliness across departments.
In this managerial position, you will oversee the supervision and training of stewards while reporting directly to the Director of Stewarding.
Your role will involve scheduling, performance management, and ensuring that all food service areas meet cleanliness standards. You will also work closely with both kitchen and banquet teams to ensure seamless operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly supervise stewarding staff and performance
• Schedule staff to uphold sanitation expectations
• Manage daily cleanliness checks in food areas
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Organize training and onboarding for new personnel
Requirements:
• 2 years in a supervisory role
• Minimum 5 years of hotel industry experience
• Results-oriented and highly organized
• Commitment to health and safety practices
• Knowledge of financial management and mechanical maintenance
